"I had wanted to stay at the Glen Eden since 1985 when I owned property down the road. It was only 27 years later that an opportunity arose to take my daughter and her fiancé. It was a last minute booking with a dog over a holiday weekend, but the folks at Glen Eden made it happen. We had a great cabin-Fireside- pretty much off by itself with a river view. Cabin had 2 bedrooms and two baths (king and twins). Kitchen well supplied with utensils, pots and pans along with a grill, picnic table and outside chairs. Fireplace in the house too."

"You go to Glen Eden for the beautiful scenery, peaceful Elk River, and a great property for families. The pool, tennis courts, river, pond, and playground are all great for keeping the kids entertained.  Great hiking, biking, horseback riding, and other great outdoor activities are also close by.  Steamboat lake is only about 10 minutes away too."

"Our family rented a 2-bedroom cabin along the river. The unit was nicely appointed and had some "stuff to do" like videos, cards, board games, etc. We ended up having dinner on-site at the Resort's restaurant, and it was GREAT! This resort is about 25 minutes outside of Steamboat"

My family and I stayed at this resort during the 4th of July weekend. What a treat this was.

We didn't get in until midnight and they had an envelope with our name waiting for us when we got there. Directions to our cabin (Rabbit Ears) were easy to follow, when we opened the door to the cabin we were surprised at how modern it was.

The office staff is sweet as pie and the site has a pool (kinda  small but we were some of the only ones in it most of the weekend), two hot tubs and heated changing rooms and towels to use at the pool.
